  2. maybe more helpful in some ways but:
    1) don’t see # of unique hits, only the total
    2) sum of visits per day for week doesn’t match total hits reported
    3) hard to use data by website page – for instance report shows lodging page like 3 times
    4) doesn’t show # of hits on a lot of the pages

  3. Ernie,

All good points: Total Hits Unique Visitors

    1) On the old report, Total Hits is now represented by Total Page Hits on the new report. Likewise, Unique Visitors is now shown as Total Visits.

    2) There was a bug in the new report – I looked into it after your comment and it should be fixed in next week’s report.

    3) There is unfortunately a bug in Google Analytics that is causing this – but they hope to have it fixed soon.

    4) This is by design. For most clients, I have only uploaded the tracking code to their homepage. If a client would like it to be added to other pages on the site, they can do this themselves by requesting their custom tracking code from support@decatech.com, or by requesting it be added to the site by DecaTech Support.

Hope that helps, and thanks for the feedback!
